Location and access
The lower station of cabin funicular is situated in Liberec – Horní Hanychov near the final station of town transportation. The upper station is situated at the peak of mountain Ještěd by the television transmitter with the hotel.
Access: It takes about ten minutes by walk from the final station of the town transportation. Parking area for buses and cars is available by the lower station.

The cabin funicular out of operation due to reconstruction until further notice
The cabin funicular at the peak Ještěd is one of the most favorite tourist places in Liberec. There was built one of the first funiculars in Czech republic. The funicular has two cabins and it is based upon pendulum system. One cabin has capacity 35 persons and max speed is 36km/hour. The length of trail is 1188m. The lower station is situated in the elevation 600m, the upper is in the elevation 1000m. The cabin is safe, and it is use also for supply of hotel Ještěd. The upper station offers beautiful view at Giant mountains, Jizera mountains, Lusatian mounzains and Bohemian Paradise.
